Fresh Out! Kirk Franklin’s son Kerrion Franklin is finally out of ja’il after being ar’reste’d in April, and is back to being active on social media. If you recall, Beverly Hills po’lice ar’rest’ed Kerrion around 7:30 a.m. PT on Sunday, April 10th, for al’legedly driving a car belonging to a woman reported missing and pr’esumed to be de’ad. He also had a g’u’n in the ve’h’icle.

In an Instagram post on Thursday night, Kerrion revealed that he was a free man and thanked his parents and go’spel artist Pastor John P. Kee for their prayers. He wrote,

“James Chapter 1:2-4. Dear brothers and sisters, when tro’ubl’es of any kind come your way, consider it all great joy. For you know that when your faith is tested, your en’dura’nce has a chance to grow. So let it grow, for when your endurance is fully developed, you will be perfect and complete, needing nothing.”

He added,

“PS #LosersLoveRumors #Shoutout 222 the Real #TeamKerrion #Shoutout My Mother & My Father & My Lighthouse @keetwit thank you for the prayers & the wind the most High is moving me in.”

While sparing the details of the pending case, Kerrion did share that the journey wasn’t over and mentioned he had one more case left to handle de’aling with this matter!

Hundreds of Roomies were happy to see that Kirk was supporting his son. It’s no se’cret that the two had a tumultuous relationship. Last March, Kirk was tre’nding on Twitter after Kerrion le’aked a video of his father cus’sing him out. In the clip, the GRAMMY-Award winning go’spel artist said,

“Let me say it like this when you b****h a** start … get your skinny m*******kin a** out the way before I put my foot in your a**.”

Kirk eventually issued an apology, but it looks like the two may have made amends from the looks of this post!
