The television superstar Steve Harvey gave his opinion about what he thinks regarding Will Smith’s attitude towards Chris Rock at the Oscars
Nearly two months after Will Smith’s infamous Oscar slap, Harvey spoke about the event during a speech at Georgia State University.
Harvey spoke of how his faith would have helped him if he was in Rock’s position but he added “I am a Christian, but I am very undeveloped. I don’t have high-level Christianity I would fight back if the slap was on him.
Will Smith caused an uproar when he slapped presenter Chris Rock on stage at the Oscars on March 27 after the comedian made a joke about his wife, Jada Pinkett Smith. He was banned for 10 years however, he managed to keep the Best Actor trophy he won or “King Richard” the same night. Will Smith also announced that he was resigning from the academy.
Rock, made a joke during the broadcast in March about Pinkett Smith’s bald spot. The 50-year-old actress suffers from alopecia, a condition that involves hair loss. Considering everything that’s happened over the past few weeks, the Smith family is focused on deep healing.
